When it comes to high fashion, men seem to know exactly what they like… generally speaking, that is. For men, the classic combination of jeans and a T-shirt never loses its lustre. A great suit, a great pair of shoes and a killer shirt and tie combination is another look that always seems to survive.

But it seems that men have a few no-go areas when it comes to current fashion trends. In many cases, somewhat unfortunately, the fashion styles that men hate are the ones that women adore.
UGG Boots
UGG boots are adored by women all over the world for their inimitable look and feel. A great pair of UGGs keep feet safe and warm, but they also look fantastic with almost anything, including jeans and dresses. Unfortunately, men do not feel quite the same way about them. Maybe this is because they do not look feminine enough, or maybe they just stand out too much. Whatever the reason is, do not expect to receive a pair as a gift from the man in your life anytime soon.

But it seems that men just are not buying into the look right now. And that is a shame because there is a huge selection of babydoll dresses on the market right now, and they look great with both high heels and boots.
Ballet flats
Ballet flats are the ultimate item in casual comfort, yet they offer a huge range of styling options — making them very popular right now. Wear your ballet flats with jeans, suit trousers or a dress; they will always offer very clear practical benefits. But beware, as a lot of men think they are a little too ‘mumsy’ and create short legs.
Jumpsuits/Overalls
Maybe it is the innate masculinity of jumpsuits and overalls that are turning men off right now.

But the simple truth is that jumpsuits come in many shapes and designs. If you love the freedom and convenience these classic garments deliver, experiment with flared versions, shorter playsuits, belts and floral designs to add a touch more femininity.
Harem trousers
Baggy around the hips and tight around the calves, harem trousers are definitely an acquired taste. Yet these distinctive garments are one of the most popular current fashion trends. Maybe men hate harem trousers because they are just a little too casual.

A lot of men prefer elegant and sleek over practical and simple.

Perhaps this is why wedges and plateau shoes are not at the top of their gift shopping lists. Wedges in particular can look a little ‘clumsy’ if not worn with the right ensemble.

Hugely popular in the 1980s, high-waisted jeans are now back. But it seems that men prefer their jeans to sit lower, and much nearer to the hips.

It seems that men like to admire the shape of the woman in their life, which is why they are not too keen on oversized cuts.
