Most of the time you go out to get a pair of jeans, it happens that the pair you choose fits perfectly. However, when you try out the same pair later at home, it looks different. You may notice wrinkles and folds that you couldn't see while in the dressing room. That should not always be the case.

The size of jeans can determine how it looks on you. The jeans should be smooth and without creases on the front side, and also not protrude or curl when you are standing. If you want your backside to look smaller or average, opt for dark coloured and boyfriend or bootcut jeans. Pay attention to the back pockets.
Choose small pockets over large ones which, on the contrary, direct attention to the buttocks.
If instead, the desired effect you want is style and size, then choose a pair of jeans with big and distant pockets from each other. Besides, embroidery, zippers and logos on the back of the jeans are ideal for making your lower back bigger and round. Skinny jeans and low-waisted slim fit will give your backside the importance it deserves.
Some jeans look good on everyone, whether you are petite or curvy. If you are trying to hide a pot belly, hips or thighs, there are straight-leg jeans, which will solve all your problems.
Straight jeans are a little tighter at the hem and adapt freely to the leg.

Finally, those who do not have long legs will find straight-cut, close-fitting jeans suitable. Once again, the dark coloured jeans are the panacea: they make the legs look longer especially when combined with high shoes.
Also, pay attention to the length of the jeans. Ankle-length jeans make the legs appear shorter while high-waisted, straight-cut and skinny jeans make the legs look longer.
However, if you already have long legs, but you want to make them more noticeable, high-waisted trousers will work perfectly, especially if you tuck in your top.
